The company will provide key race executives, including the Clerk of Course, Course Manager and Technical Director, Mervyn Whyte, with a fleet of up to 18 vehicles from BMW UK, VW Group UK, Honda UK, Peugeot UK and Renault UK in the months running up to Race Week. Fleet Financial, who have supported the NW200 since 2003, will also enhance their vehicle supply package with additional cash support until 2013.

Organisers of the famous road race, which will take place on Saturday 19th May, announced a giant-themed Race Week in line with the Northern Ireland Tourist Board’s ‘giant’ year for international events. Commenting on the partnership Jim Humphreys, Fleet Financial’s Sales Manager said, “We believe the NW200 is one of the most important sporting festival events to take place in Ireland and as a local company we have been very proud to be associated with it. Every year it just gets bigger and better and we are delighted to play our part in its ongoing success.”

Fleet Financial, the Mallusk based contract hire and fleet management company, has won its largest ever single contract to supply and maintain Sierra Support Services’ fleet in Northern Ireland. Valued at over £2m, the three year contract will see the immediate roll out of 70 vans which will include the UK launch of Sky’s new Simpsons themed branding.

The business was awarded to Fleet Financial by the Sierra Support Services Group who are responsible for the installation and maintenance of Sky’s products and services throughout the island of Ireland. This new project also marks Dublin-based Sierra’s first move into Northern Ireland.

Jim Humphreys, Fleet Financial’s Sales Manager, explains, “We are delighted that against stiff competition Sierra chose us as their partner for the provision of their fleet requirements for the Northern element of the work. Charles Hurst Vauxhall are also to be congratulated for the speed and efficiency with which they delivered the 70 Vauxhall Vivaro vans, getting them ready for the road and wrapped in Sky’s new branding in less than six weeks. Starting this month, the contract will extend into 2014 and will both significantly strengthen our positioning in Northern Ireland and potentially offer future opportunities for us with Sierra in .ROI and the UK mainland”
