Business Development Managers

Fleet Financial is a leading Contract Hire/Leasing and vehicle management provider and has in excess of 1300 customers with over 4200 cars and vans under management.

You will identify and engage with potential customers and introduce our wide ranging products and solutions.

The growth and development of your customer base will be a vital part of our growth strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop prospects
  • Engage with businesses from sole traders to large fleet users, providing solutions to the procurement and management of their vehicles
  • Attend face to face meetings with potential customers
  • Work with our Internal Sales to identify potential areas of business growth
  • Be responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of prospects
  • Conversion of prospects into customers
  • Regularly update and maintain our CRM system
  • Maintain regular contact with prospects and customer base

Essential

  • Previous experience of significant new business generation
  • Proven record of exceeding targets
  • Experience of selling within a B2B environment
  • Proven ability and experience in solution selling
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • An ability to build long-term partnerships with customers and suppliers
  • An ability to work effectively, be self-motivated and committed to exceeding customer expectations
