“Our vehicles average 20,000 miles per annum - a typical drive is around 50 miles so factors such as fuel efficiency are important to us and we require diesel vehicles. Before finding Fleet Financial responsibility for fleet management was with Operational Managers but challenged by increasing fleet maintenance costs and disposal risks we recognised that this could be a good function to outsource. In outsourcing to Fleet Financial we instantly gained greater asset management control and ongoing maintenance cost control.

Training Solutions (NI) Limited is a small but fast growing company based in Antrim and owned by Jim Stewart. The company has three vehicles from Fleet Financial which do varying mileage from 20,000 up to 60,000 per year.

Brenda & Richard Buckley, the publishers of Business Eye, recently took delivery of two new Mercedes-Benz cars…an SLK 200 and a C180 Sport Edition (both of them black!).

Fleet Financial have managed all aspects of the operation from staff changes, ordering, servicing, repairs to the day today management. Fleet Financial have removed a significant burden of operating the fleet from the Group managementteam, within agreed paramenters.

Fleet Financial have been flexible and professional and have recently been successful in retaining the fleet business for the Group after the management of the fleet was retendered in April 2006.
